i LOVE listening to instrumental music while writing. I've already downloaded various pieces by Mozart, Bach, Beethoven etc, and the soundtrack from some game called The Longest Journey, and some pieces from Cirque de Soleil...
is there anything else that I can listen to, and where can I get it? (preferably for free)
(Oh, and please don't say "ocean waves". ocean waves drives me insane)
you can listen to nature sounds or classical music on you tube if you have easy internet accelisten to instrumental musicss or if you have com-cast, you can go to channels 401 to about 440 which have many genres to choose from. Hope i helped
The best thing I can say to listen to new music that's free is on Youtube. You shouldn't download music on the net where you don't know where exactly it's coming from. I got malware on my computer while desperately trying to get some Xena songs. I still want more but I can't find them. You might want to sign up for a mp3 site that's legit. Either napster or whatever. I personalisten to instrumental musiclly use mp3va.com and they never screwed me over. Even when I email them they get back to me soon. It's 15 cents for each song. And they have a large selection even stuff from independant bands. But anyways...
I suggest you look over soundtracks. That's what I used when I wrote or even came up with scenes for stories.
The newest band I found that's helpful to me is...Nox Arcana! It's very moody, dark but beautiful.
